...but the heart of the matter, is that "Matter" it is also a form, it is is function, its context...as for meaning, Meaning it is the substance in the word, its matter again...the function in the relation...things are a bit more trickier then that...as forms give rise to new substances and new substances instantiate new forms of relation, who knows, in an infinite chain...

Merry Christmas to you with lots of meaning Fido !

Thank you... Yes, matter is meaning with being, and so it can be conceived of as such, with a true, verifyable concept... Moral forms are only a certain meaning which for most can range from meaningful to meaningless with no means of verification... They are infinites and as such, neither knowledge nor true concept...

@Deftil,
What brings people that had a zest for life to clinical depression in a world with so much to offer?

@Deftil,
Who are we to answer a question beyond our control or understanding, we can ponder it, but must realize it may be far beyond our capability to even grasp the answers?

@Victor Eremita,
Are you the figment of your own imagination? if you are even a figment of your own imagination,that means you are something,rather than nothing right?

@ktbrown47,
You can't have some'thing' with out no'thing', just as you can't have no'thing' without some'thing'.

@north,
Because without there once being no'thing' you would never know some'thing' was 'there', we know everything we know by contrasts.

@north,
You are the no'thing' that backgrounds every'thing' you experience(some'thing') - if you can understand that we know everything we know by contrast you really don't need to know anything else.

@north,
You are no'thing, every'thing' you experience(see/hear - interact with) becomes some'thing', you however forever remain the no'thing you started out as throughout.

@north,
No...and still, a shadow is something...I agree that nothing in itself cannot refer...it happens that our nothing its always the very least of anything...

@Fil Albuquerque,
I am the shadow and the 'thing', without me existing first neither would be possible.

@Fil Albuquerque,
It is 'difficult' to speak of because what we are speaking of resists every attempt at definition.

@Fil Albuquerque,
To speak in and of itself is to mis-represent, all 'creation' is from and for This One - which is each and every incarnation.
