Nope, I've seen the movie too. It was actually a bit scary, partly due to the overtly unreal nature of the situation, which sneaks up on the viewer.
Speaker 1: "Why did you contact us?"
Speaker 2: "You contacted us. We were just listening."
Nope. If you stop to think about it, this line really couldn't be "The Thing," since the "thing" was a single creature who was totally hostile and wouldn't have engaged in such a discussion.
