Another HST documentary. Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride was a good film for fans, but this new documentary has interviews with Pat Buchanan, Jimmy Carter, Jimmy Buffet, George McGovern, and even Sonny Barger the Hells Angels leader who had Hunter beaten within an inch of his life.
This one promises to be a classic - might even be the must watch film of the summer. I can't imagine anything more worthwhile coming out - and lord knows the last thing we need is another light hearted romantic comedy.
For those interested, this movie/documentary is currently available instantly on netflix. I enjoyed it for the most part having previously read Thompson's "Hells Angels" & "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."
