@chad3006,
Time is the definition of a process. If it seems to anyone meaningless what will come, it means that his sense of reality define him future on the way, which meaningless really is.

Mostly it happens when there are no function principles to hold on them, after that there was any. What is never included it that way of thinking is the point that mostly change it anything else what would be found, therefore is unresponsible to say "meaningless", because it is in fact only lack of founded.

Sure, the passage of enough time will render all things meaningless. But I don't see where you are getting your implied conclusion from.

The passage of time will erode a rock into nothingness, but you wouldn't drop one on your foot would you?

What does it mean to say that something is "meaningless"? Unimportant?

time - not the objective measurement of elapsed time, but your sense of existing in time - mainly exists by virtue of your awareness of it. Thought creates time. Become absorbed in something - something worthwhile, mind you - and time is of no importance any more.

I do not understand the concept of time.
All my clocks are off by a minute, or 2.
I count seconds sometimes, sometimes the hours of the day-light.

I do think Cesium-clocks are pretty accurate in counting, but so were water-clocks at the time.:Glasses:

@chad3006,
What is it you want that would give life meaning? More of it? Is that it? Some seem to think so. The smile is everything: not cruel and condescending and mocking laughter. To receive a smile from another human being is meaning and when you see someone without one, give them yours. It works. But of course you have to "MEAN" it! I hope one of these days all will understand what "love" means. That will give life more meaning than anyone could possibly imagine.

@chad3006,
If you have no strong foundation, you can only build small houses, never skyscrapers.
