On this Memorial Day I am thinking about the hundreds of thousands of LGBT americans who have served their country in hiding...in secret...as tax paying americans...fighting for the protections and rights of those in the heterosexual christian majority who fight against them...every day going about their lives working side by side those who talk about wives, children, their home, what they did that weekend, while gays have sat silent..being told what we do is to be kept in our "bedroom"...today...LGBT Americans throughout history can be proud of their hard work and see their visions became reality...that a gay man and woman can serve openly and honestly...now THATS american!
