Stumbled on a thread in this forum about the Rainsoft Timer. My Rainsoft unit had overflowed its brine tank recently. I noticed it was still attempting to fill the brine tank. Pulled the timer assembly out and noticed some very fine metal filings on the bottom. I have set it to cycle for the next few days and last night it appeared to get stuck in the middle of the recharge cycle. I had it set to start around 2AM, it was still running at 8AM. We have a dealer in town, I thought I would check out some other options first. Are you still rebuilding these?? What do you charge? I do have an extra unit from a carbon tank that I could use in the meantime.

Thanks Mark Vikla
