Jealous 98 year old murders roommate

Bizarre, indeed. Possibly some form of elderly dementia?

I'd venture to guess. Now what the h*ll are they going to do if she is found guilty of murder? Throw her in the slammer?

Apparently Elizabeth, that happy-go-lucky bitch, also had a rhinestone-encrusted coffin. Wouldn't you be driven to madness?

My 100 year old aunt had a roommate in her facility that was jealous of her visitors. Sometimes she would cry and tell us that no one in her family came to see her and throughout our visits with my aunt, this lady would try to get our attention and woo us to her side of the room. It was annoying and very sad.

And sadly I think this sort of thing occurs more often in nursing homes than you probably hear.

I worked in one when I was in high school. There was one man that they assigned a male worker to be his "escort" - he could never be alone. He had molested a bed ridden female resident.

There was another woman that had to be watched as well. She would try to escape and wander around. Residents could go out, that were capable, but this woman did not have all her marbles in sense, and would have likely been struck by a car or who knows what. The scary thing was she was very clever about her escapes. Once we were driving not too far from the nursing home and fortunately saw her wondering about.

I knew this topic seemed familiar. Somebody posted about it last year when it happened. Updates are always good.
