@msolga,
12.34 pm Saturday 24th.

Was dragged from bed by cats, who are still demanding attention. I'd take them for a walk but it's too hot.

Cheers

@dlowan,
I assure you, if I'm ever down under, I'll make it so. I'll even let the evening's downward spiral* spin clockwise!

7: 07 pm.. Christmas Eve, Saturday, Melbourne

The last minute shopping debacle proved to be not-so-bad.
Probably because everyone with any sense had completed their shopping well before the last minute ... & were home putting their feet up, or stuffing the chicken or the turkey ...

Anyway I found a very nice gift (earrings) from my favourite little bric-a-brac/jewelery/new & old goodies place ..... AND resisted the urge to buy anything for me. (now there's a show of strength for you!)

Just got back from my friend's place to see if she's managing. She's cooking Christmas dinner for 10 people (at last count) tomorrow, including me. Everything under control there. Her daughter's helping.

So home again. Still a warm, bright, shiny day out there. It will be for quite a while yet .... gotta love daylight saving.
And I'm about to cook dinner.
My neighbourhood is very peaceful tonight. You could hear a pin drop.
All is well & life feels good! Smile

@dlowan,
7.15pm Saturday night, sitting outside sipping a cold beer after a warm day 0f 37 degrees or 98.6 up in the US. Peeled a few prawns which taste extremely well with the liquid amber. Smile A repeat of last night but son sent me 10kg of King size ones to get through.

8:50 on Saturday , Christmas Eve Morning

I woke up about seven, sitting here answering some correspondence and looking at a2k. I happened to glance outside the window about a half an hour ago and noticed the sky was alight. Went outside and took a picture - this is the sky as it was in Somerset at about 8:15 this morning:

2:35 PM EST - Washington, DC.

Just returned from workout and took the puppy to the dog park. Considering everything, I'd like to say that I don't smell as bad as a look.

Apply soaking salts.

@failures art,
Trying to smell your own bad odor is not the best measure of it. LOL
