@msolga,
I don't grow aloe vera and I had no idea it was good for mosquito bites. Thanks!

@plainoldme,
I wish I could give you some of mine, then, POM.
It's good for any type of itching.

@Rockhead,
I usually have some aloe growing somewhere. Even a small pot of it is good.

Yes. That's what I have, osso.
Very useful it is, too.
You wouldn't want one of those jumbo ones that take over your whole garden!
They're very easy to grow, if you're interested, POM. (They don't mind a bit of neglect at all!)

G'day there, Rocky! Smile

1.45pm, Thursday 19 August, 2010.

It's just lovely in sunny Sydney. A glorious winter day, blue skies, light breeze, laundry flapping.

Me - I'm grounded with a killer cold, that I've had on and off for four weeks now.

I've developed a 100-tissue a day habit, my nose looks like Rudolph, and the rest of me looks like crap!

At least Possum is happy - except when I'm having a coughing fit, and need to make an urgent dash, he has a warm body to sit on or snuggle up to (warm as in feverish, though Confused )

@dyslexia,
Not a nun, but, because of absentmindedness, many clothes are now covered with tissue-snow, as well! Must remember to check the pockets before putting in the washing machine. Yuk!

That sounds pretty serious, margo.
What does your doctor say? Some sort of major, major virus?
Take the best possible care of yourself!

I've just returned from a good, long walk.
I hope I've received the necessary dose of vitamin D.
I think I need it!

@msolga,
Good morning toute le monde!
Woke up an hour and a half earlier then usual and well here I am.
It's presently 05:22 EST and I just booted up last night's episode of The Daily Show.

Sorry to hear of your dreaded down under cold Margo.

Any exciting events on your sojourn MsOlga?

No, nothing at all exciting happening here right now, tsar. Sorry to disappoint.
I'm relying on your posts, about your doings, for that! Smile

It's 2:46 pm and my house, city and province are covered in smoke from the fires in BC. Brutal. You can actually smell the smoke and it's from 6-700 km away.
