It's 2.40am in Sin City and I can't sleep.

I have to fly to Canberra this morning (yech!) for our industry conference - 2 days of spectacular boredom, not lightened at all by having to be nice to clients - and the food is crap. And I have to go to the industry dinner! At least it's Floriade, the spring floral festival, in Canberra - and the conference centre is only a 10 minute walk from the main gardens. I wonder if anyone would miss me if I ran away?

Only one week until I go to terrorise Europeans - and my brain is working overtime. So many things to do yet, things to organise for the house and cat sitter. What about assorted currencies?......

@jcboy,
My dog, Brady, drags his empty bowl across the floor if he wants food.

@margo,
I only went to one national landscape architecture meeting - a bunch of us escaped and took a very long walk around San Francisco - that was a lot of fun, but then San Francisco is.

@ossobuco,
It's 9:41 PM, I'm about to fall asleep in my chair.

Antonio's new bathroom has a tub and separate shower, he experimented with the shower tonight, I wish he had closed the shower door.

@Rockhead,
1.30pm, Thursday 27th September in sunny South Australia. A beautiful spring day of 28 degrees, life can't be any better, sitting outside on the patio sipping a cold beer with a couple of snags from the BBQ.

It's 6:16 am, I've already been to the gym and back. I always feel angry and violent after my workouts. Thanks, adrenaline.

Oh and hungry. Time for food. Food make happy! Cool

Home from work, unwinding, eating what supposedly should of been one, a plate of cookies, contemplating dinner, checking computer stuff. It is a bit past six in the evening here in Michigan, United States.

12:05 pm, Friday 28th September, Melbourne

Was woken this morning by an extremely LOUD thunderclap. Nearly fell out of bed! (really! Shocked )
Hours later & my cat remains in hiding. She is absolutely terrified by thunder & lightning & fire crackers, and ...
But I know where she is. In her usual hidey-hole (under the couch) She'll emerge for breakfast when the coast is clear.
It's raining cats & dogs now. Has been for a while.
Ah well. It's good for the garden. Saves me watering my newly planted seedlings.
