im mainly interested in stunts, wheelies, etc.
my friend let me ride his gsx r 1k and it was amazing, i havent quit thinking about it for about 4 weeks.
not looking to race, performance is good, im looking more for low maintenance, and sheer reliability, stability.
lightweight, i only weight 150. lol.
I've always figured the idea of desmo valves on a street bike was sort of dumb, like, who really wants to be adjusting valves every 3000 miles or whatever? If I'm buying an Italian street bike it's gonna be a Guzzi.
@gungasnake,
that is currently like 90% over budget for me.
i was thinking the $2,500 range. age doesnt matter, id prefer to learn what goes wrong with them.
yeah, i probablly should have mentioned my budget first. this isnt gonna be in the near future, im guessing in about 6 months ill have enough. id like to be able to get the word out for what i want, 3 of my friends are relatives to bike shop owners.ones a harley shop though.
@ghostinthemachine702,
godamn thats a beautiful peice of art though aint it?
Get a used or dropped SV650 or SV1000.
Having said that... why the **** do you want to stunt?

Terrible idea.
@failures art,
Nevermind what I said. I drive a SV, and I can't stand the idea of people stunting (and falling) (and falling) (and falling) in a nice machine like that.

@ghostinthemachine702,
Had any sort of a look at the Kawasaki 250 on-off road bik (KLR if memory serves...)?
That one can charge into places jeeps and tanks can't go and cruise at 75 on the highway and get nearly 80 mpg doing either.
My own taste in Italian bikes runs more towards something like this. The Guzzi isn't going to need valves being adjusted every 3000 miles and has the same basic 90-degree V engine; just a trace of a V-twin type shake at idle and glassy smooth above about 1400 rpm.
