A few days back i watched this video which showed the new technology introduced by BMW. In that the exhaust gases are at ambient temperature which means you could actually hold the exhaust pipe in your hand without getting hurt or anything.
I just wana know how the thing works. If anyone could help me out, i'd be grateful, as im looking for the exact name to the technology.

I read some time ago that BMW or Audi were using the hot exhaust gases to heat up water to turn a small steam turbine to capture the energy same as the turbo chargers are doing with the exhaust fumes pressure. Probably the heat capture is one of the ways the exhaust gases are cooled. Water absorbs 1,000 or so calories to turn to steam. I don't have the steam ables handy.
