How can we lose one leg of the incoming service (the 110 leg) and my 220 appliances still work? Half the house had no receptacle or ceiling lights due to work being done by the electric company, yet the stove, washer, & dryer all worked. They are all back to working now, but we can't figure out why the 220 stuff worked yet the lighter stuff didn't?
