Title of an old children's animation film

hi, I've been looking for a children's animation that I saw when I was a child, so in the early 90's.

The description is: a baby girl was washed up in a flood and an old women found her, she has a cat called Esmerelda and there are lots of other animals. When the baby grows up a man falls in love with her and he has a horse AND HAS SOMETHING TO GO WITH FINDING TREASURE AND A CASTLE WITH A MOAT AROUND IT!! IT IS QUITE AN AMUSING ANIMATION.
