How many parts are there in the human eye ball?
What is this for, a quiz, homework, or understanding of the eye? The trouble with human anatomy is that there is a lot of inter relation. I recently looked up the musculature for the eyelid and gave up from the complicated details. I know that is not part of the eyeball, but the eyeball would be a dessicated disk without the lid.
For some kind of basic eye anatomy, look at wikipedia.
@kaykay98,
There are 6 million parts in each human eye. Most of them are located in the central reina - maccula fovea area.
@kaykay98,
Who told you that? Are they all structural?
@ossobuco,
Maybe that counts each rod and cone as a part? Sounds fair.
Woo woo! I doubt eye surgeons count them.
@ossobuco,
I'll keep an eye out for this one.
