During one of the final episodes of Grey's Anatomy, we witnessed the slow death of Patrick Dempsey's Dr. McDreamy. For a while, that evening I thought for sure McDreamy would coast into a long, drawn out coma.

But no! Near the end, as the machines labored on, his wife, Dr. Grey realized that all hope was lost and so she ordered life support to be discontinued.

So long...Dr McDreamy!

Grey's Anatomy, after a successful run of 10 years now appears to be winding down and may be on it's last leg. Too bad ...as this show has brought much entertainment and medical knowlege to the general public.

Will the writer bring new life into the show?

Maybe it's time for a new medical show by the same excellent writer.

Time will tell.
