to prevent us from posting. It really WORKS.

Oh God, here we go again with the hero worship. Can we just put it on every page (maybe next to the logo) that Robert is great and be done with it? I believe that, most everyone does, we'll all agree in writing....with blood if need be.

But kindly lets not forget Robert is the facilitator, and a very good one at that. Where the rubber meets the road what makes a2k great is the membership.

cuz you know, the majority of active posters (and avid fans of A2K) does seem to be politically central, if not actually left of centre (using U. S. definitions)

Tho I have reduced the incidence of some special effects,
I have not eliminated them entirely; thay have their place.
If u read newspapers or read magazines, u will find headlines.
Of course, u don 't have to read those either, if u don't want to.

I thought that it might, in some measure, serve to counter-act the testy complaint
about the site being out of service for an hour or 2,

Well, I'd like to thank Robert too, this site is great but I'm not as sycophantic as David nor am I as denigrating as Hawkeye (in medio veritas).

However, when the last change occurred and we got this new format a wonderful feature of the site was lost, the great search engine.

I'm now beginning to believe that Robert did that on purpose...
