I miss Aaron Sorkin on West Wing

Does anyone else miss Aaron Sorkin's writing for The West Wing? The show just doesn't have the edge it had in Sorkin's scripts. The pace and dialogue is not as sharp; the characters have lost some of their depth. The writers are trying to present conflict but the spark just sputters.

The West Wing my very favorite tv show, and you're right. The dialog seems to have lost it's edge compared to earlier episodes. Often, we see that happening with most successful programing.

I really enjoyed Wednesday's episode though. Seems the writers giving the prez more depth on a personal level, with a bit more bite to the dialog (his exchange with Mrs prez's assistant) Will be interesting seeing how the story unfolds.
