did Pablo Picasso visit Germany in 1965"

My father's guest book from his theater has a doodle with the signature from Picasso, and an expression of how much he liked the show. He evidently, according to my father, disappeared after the signing of the guest book and before my father could react- into the night. My father since died, and the sketch and signature (sofar) look real. Problem we are having is that no-one knows of him having been in Germany - ever. I was asked if my father could have met him some where else? I don't know, but he would not have taken his theater's guest book with him. Has anyone ever heard of Picasso travelling to Germany? We are puzzled.
