I need Character names

Reply Tue 9 Mar, 2010 03:13 am
Hey every one. It's me again. I need help ...again. I can't think of names for three of my main characters. The fourth i have a name for. It's the name i use for this site. These other characters are all male. One father, the other two are his sons. I need forenames and surnames. I know it may be annoying me always asking for help on my stories. But i really love to write and can't go on until i have the character names. There seems to be a block in my brain.

These characters are demon hunters. That's why i needed the latin translation. For those of you that have viewed it.

Thanks

@rubybloodstone,
Have you tried using any of the numerous online name generators? When I was a GM for a popular RPG, I frequently made use of name generators to help inspire the character and room descriptions I wrote.

Here are some fantasy name generators that I came up with using Google:

http://www.rinkworks.com/namegen/

http://www.seventhsanctum.com/index-name.php

If fantasy isn't the genre you want, just enter Name Generator (genre name) into Google and you'll probably find one suited for your genre.

@Butrflynet,
Thanks I'll keep this in mind. It's going to be a great help for my minor characters. I'm trying to right a book. So there will be alot of characters popping up.

@KiwiChic,
Wow. They really are good names. For those that are suppose to be cool demon hunters. Thank you. I think i'll use these names.

@CalamityJane,
They are good names for dwarven stories i suppose. But they are a bit too old fashioned for the story i'm writing.

@Ticomaya,
And maybe Biff and Chet could be their demon-hunting chums.

Dear ruby:
There is a poster here on A2K who calls himself OmSigDavid. He insists on what he considers phonetic spelling in his posts. This is not through ignorance but, rather, idiosyncracy. Your writing "right" instead of "write" is, I presume, what prompted dadpad's wry comment.
Sincerely,
Merry (glad to be of help) Andrew
