got the wood splitter back from the repair shop for mr snowplow. cut a rick of wood while I had it. not gonna be cold again for a while. Ima cut a pile to length next week, and borrow the splitter again, and we will stay in front of it for the winter. putting the split wood in a corner of the shop where it will stay nice and dry, and close to the shop stove. ten steps from the cabin when it snows...

I have an appointment tomorrow in the morning at the hospital (told them I don't do mornings very well, but they dint listen) for a barium x-ray. then I will try to stop back to the indian clinic and see what they have deduced from the bloodwork from last week. my borrowed vehicle ends on Sunday.

I think that maybe this is a good time for me to take my a2k vacation. I don't want to be a holiday downer here, and this will make a nice present for the a2kers that get uncomfortable when I'm around.

merry merry everyone.

and a happy new year...

mismi was being polite referring to you as a horse's patoot.

I say you're a gigantic pain in the ass. (Not so polite.) But the same sentiment.

Just checking in with you. Let us know you're okay when you can. Looks like your area is getting hit hard by this blizzard.

Hoopla poopla, pain in the patoot, big pain in the ass, all mean we love you and want to hear from you everyday, several times a day.

Like butrflynet, hope you aren't completely snowed and and glad you got the wood cut.

@Diane,
I prepared for a nasty weather event. so far it's been mostly rain and ice.

This time of year is always less than my favorite, and this year it's much worse for a number of reasons that I'll not go into.

If something good should happen, I will surface and share it with those that may or may not wish to know. otherwise, I think it best to let y'all enjoy your holiday festivities without any worries on my behalf.

I spent the evening cutting the old wasted out door hinges off of an S10 pick-up so I can weld new ones on tomorrow while it snows.

I have enough dry wood for a week. and a handful of pain pills.

any day I can be vertically stable and productive is a good day.

horses ass or not...

@Rockhead,
Diane is right. All we want to know is that you are okay. Just give us a heads up...and frankly - I would just as soon hear from you whether you feel good or bad. Just hearing from you is important to us.

Just so ya' know. Take care of you please.

Agrees with the other ladies. We are sort of short on the good guys around here most days. Please don't leave us even shorter.

(((((Rock))))) Love ya. xo

Same here. We really don't care if you're in the holiday spirit or not. (Haven't you figured that out YET?) We just want to hear from you. 'Cause we like you. Is that plain enough?

Don't flatter yourself by calling yourself a horse's ass.

You're a pain in our collective ass.

Worried about you and the weather.

I gotta make bubba some kinda heater for nights when I don't run the shop stove. she's all curled up on the army blanket bed I made for her next to it, but I don't feel good enough to fire it up tonight. the work I have up next is heavier than I'm up for just now, and I don't have enough extra firewood to burn it in the big stove just for her.

maybe a light bulb in a plywood box or something easy like that. that I can plug in and not worry about it, but she can snuggle up to and stay warm.
gonna be 14 tonight...

@ehBeth,
when I'm not stable enough to work in it, it takes a lot of wood to warm a fiddy by fiddy tin building for the damned cat...

tonight the shop is toasty. got sparky over to drink beer and wire the breakers into the panel for my new circuits. good power for the welder to work from.

still cutting off manky old hinges whilst sparky works and talks. and talks and drinks...

bubba is cuddled up by the stove ignoring us...
