@GracieGirl,
Thank you Gracie - I did get your get well wishes. I still have the sniffles. But I will be fine. Smile You better not get busted texting girl. Wink What do they do if they catch you these days? Is it like passing a note in class?

If there was a tornado close to Rock - I assure you he would be scared. I still get freaked out down here in Bama and we get plenty of them here.

Fridays only a day away! Smile woohoo!

@GracieGirl,
I respect tornados. and I fear nighttime ones.

when it's light enough to see what's going on, I like to watch them...

we have a concrete fraidy hole if we are in the path, but haven't been down there yet.

you can't run from an earthquake...

I'm within tricycle distance of this place, gracie:

@mismi,
Everybody's getting sick! It's soo weird. I was really sick alittle while ago too so I know how you feel. Smile

Haha! At school if teachers or administrators see us on our phones/iPods (even just to check the time) they'll take them away and give us detention and we won't get our stuff back until our parents pick them up from the office. It sucks! But I haven't gotten caught and I won't. Smile

Where's Bama? It's already Thursday where you are?! Haha! It's 3:45 pm on a Wednesday where I am! Very Happy Smile

Oh cool! Kansas, I'll remember that next time. Haha! Do lots of people ride trikes there?

Yea, tornadoes are awesome. I think it would be really cool to see one in person.

I am the only trike rider that I see. but trends gotta start somewhere.

pickup trucks are the standard mode of transport here.

farm country.

I live between a wheat field and a milo field. getting ready to raise a goat...

finally made it to the post office.

sent a wandering jew to new york city.

figger that's a great place for a jew to wander to. it is overdue, but the weather and post office cutbacks have conspired to make me wait.

friday should be a good day for planting, and it's had a home waiting now for a long time.

gotta order some parts from online, too. now that I got my bank card straightened out. gonna start working on the old Chrysler again, I think. it belongs to Nissan guy, who is do for a crying jag. I think his remanufactured motor is remanufactured incorrectly. gonna see what it does to the new spark plugs, but I don't see them not getting smashed either. they are only slightly different that the previous ones that are smashed up in 3 out of 4 holes.

he provided the motor. I normally don't work that way, but this time I'm real glad I did.

I will get paid to do it again...

@GracieGirl,
I don't think it was the grape's fault...

so far no headaches today. no sugar either. and small snacks all day.

@Rockhead,
That is very cool. Sounds like you are having a good day - except for the no sugar part. That sucks.

Smile

Almost Friday.

@ehBeth,
local to wherever wally buys it.

clover by the label.

right now, I got no wheels of my own, I gotta shop when smoky wants to go to wallys or starve...

we'll work on finding a better source once I make sure that honey doesn't firk with me like the sugar is...

@Rockhead,
If you can find a local beekeeper - see if they'll supply you with raw, unpasteurized honey. Great for all kinds of things that ail you - especially if it's local.

The bee expert explained a lot about the importance of the terroir of honey - interesting stuff.

@ehBeth,
I want my own bees, but that is not gonna happen this year.

my sister had a giant hive, but she wanted it gone before I could make it happen...

one step at a time...

@ehBeth,
I have a "special" mug from the cosmosphere that is for tea. it seems indestructible (knock on wood)

having a baked sweet tater and some more of that chicken soup tonight. mebbe a turkey sammich if I'm still hungry. prolly not...

got some fruit-cicles to snack on, too.

I opened up that tool box. it's kinda messy and unimpressive. Ima lay it all out and organize it with my own carving stuff, then I'll shoot you a picture...
