we didn't go that far.

32 feet is just about right...

we got clear cold water after the mud got done spewing.

learned something new today, as I pulled some of my houseplants inside for the duration of the drought.

grasshoppers think chiflera is candy...

it's scary how many leaves aren't anymore. I could almost hear them chomping as I walked up. I sprayed water on it, and a swarm of the little bastards abandoned ship...

I replaced my broken (1 week old chinese crap) sprinkler yesterday, and the garden already looks thankful.

my water hyacinths have started to bloom in the pond, and my big tropical stuff is getting lush...

the guppy population is over 500 by my best estimate. in the fall, they will bring a quarter apiece. (if I can catch them)

holy fish farm, batman...

the one day that goes away from forecast, and I'm wonky...

been moving the sprinkler a lot. it's cloudy, but I don't see it raining.

don't care, it's not scorching...

gonna take smoky to see the kid. they moved him again. further yet from us. at least there is no place in the metro that would be further than this, so it has to get better...

if I feel better when we get back, I got everything to try and make homemade chocolate chip cookies that are safe for me to eat.

we'll see...

no cookies.

but I got loads done in the garden.

we had cloud cover all day, so my water didn't burn off nearly as fast.

almost have good coverage over the whole mess.

lotsa green...

thatsa good thing, cuz tomorrow we go back to 108.

and I gotta be a mechanic all day...

wow...

108 today. 111 tomorrow.

Really struggling to even schedule anything to work on.

just trying to keep stable mostly...

hanging sheets to help shed some heat today. need more pushpins, we do.

We are projected at a hundred or slightly above that all this week. If it got to 108 I would have to find an inside project or stay home from work.

It's so dry in Texas that....

The Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling,
The Methodists are using wet-wipes,
The Presbyterians are giving out rain-checks, and
The Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back into water.

went over to mr vw's on the way back from seeing my computer guy.

picked up an old p3 box from a long time ago.

still mostly works, but dog it's sloooooowwwwww.

gonna use it till it spazzes out.

hope to have both of my other units back in a coupla days.

swapping my 3rd box for the repairs on my two best ones.

and owe a car repair at some point in the future, prolly.

not sure how deep the goodwill runs there anymore.

gram says hey...

this computer does not like the weather channel.

big time slow down when the radar pulls up...

we are gonna get a little tiny rain storm.

I hope the rain is as real as the gust front was.

trees pushing the cabin around a little bit.

put smoky's car in my shop, he just got it back from the body shop from the last time it hailed...
