@Rockhead,
As a joke, I often bring home a small piece of brick or stone or tile....then during a convo, go into a small coughing fit and let the piece of material fall on the table.....hand to mouth, cough, clunk....and then say....oh that's much better.....usually good for a laugh.

I am nearly always covered in splatters of mortar and dust of some sort...and more than I'd like to admit, blood....tile can be very sharp, last night I was just picking a piece up and it broke in my hand, almost went thru the webbing between my thumb and index finger of my laying hand....the left....oh man is it sore tonight.

done with fuel tank wrestling for today.

It's safely on the ground, with 20 gallons of fuel still in it.

gonna wait for help draining it. when I'm done installing the new pump, I will have mortar money to finish the wall.

went and peeked at it this morning. (about 2 pm) and it looks pretty damn good. all things considered...

special thanks to 6packs. Cool

I think tonight, I'm gonna get my bathroom floor ready to tile...

then I gotta re-insulate it and lay plywood.

the slab is drying nicely nicely...

@edgarblythe,
I gotta finish my tea and go fix the roof.

swirling winds have found the weak spot in my defenses and there is a banging noise that has Stinky aggravated enough to come tell me about it...

tomorrow is my first real test. it may not make it out of the teens, with a brisk north wind.

gotta love kansas...

@Rockhead,
Heh, I'd say that you are in great need of air fresheners, cat litter and an exhaust fan! Phew!

@Butrflynet,
actually no.

the kids are both rather fastidious...

it smells mostly of wood smoke (hedge and a bit of cedar), unless I am cooking something.

@Rockhead,
OK, let's see if I got this.
You want a website that tells what coyote crap looks like.
This is so you can track some coyotes down.

Wouldn't you rather know what their paw prints look like?
Or do coyotes **** really often?
And what are you gonna do with them once you find them?

I'm a city boy.
This is all new to me.
I tend to avoid animal poop as much as possible.
And coyotes.

@George,
I have large canine footprints. larger than my dog by a margin.

I have spots where something beds down and mats the grass.

trying to get the lay of the critters on the land.

gotta huge milo field behind, and lotsa trees (for Kansas) between the cabin and the fields...

I think I wanna take their picture.

not really sure...

(I'm not looking to kill anything)
