I'm getting tired of middle of the night excitement and police reports...

You can keep the police reports but I wouldn't mind a bit of middle of the night excitement.

not the way it happens here, I'd guess.

I found the bag of mostly worthless **** that the kid stashed near my house.

he got interupted mid theft. left my trunk open with a light shining out.

tore hell outta my center console in the bonneville for $5 worth of crap. and left $100 worth of tools alone...

went out over the fence to the fire station parking lot. (I asked, no cameras)

I may hafta start doing a 3am patrol...

No, that kind of middle of the night excitement I can do without, we all can.

Mind yourself, all I can suggest is good dogs, good lighting... you know yourself.

worked as part of a 4 man crew tonight for Paula Poundstone at the O. spotlight number one, that's me.

Mickey Thomas's "starship" tomorrow afternoon with a bigger crew.

turned down a show rigging up north to be part of the core team at the O. less pay, but I love working steady at the old girl...

got an early morning call to replace a no show over to the MTW warehouse. they were shipping a coupla semi trailers of sets to Texas.

glad I slept with my phone last night...

gonna eat some pollo and go over the the Orph for the afternoon.

we are replacing some of the 100+ year old ropes that rig the fly system.

should be interesting.

my check from the local was off. be two weeks brfore it gets right.

thankfully my check from the O hit yesterday before the banks closed.

gonna go get some chicken and make grillers for me and my neighbor guy. he lives in the 150 year old house next door. does maintenance work for Cornhole. a local mega contractor.

and he is my primary explosion risk tonight after dark.

figure if I am there with him, the response is that much quicker.

he'll pass out early, and maybe I can get some sleep tonight...

attendance was poor.

I have one of the antique head pieces from the grid in my truck. (verra cool. riveted together like an old ship)

tomorrow's project is to restore it better than new. then we try to get approval to replace and restore the remaining units as necessary...

my steady work at the O is averaging 4 days a week. gotta stick with it and hope for the best. rumor has it that I am getting a set of keys soon.

oh, and I think I have a girlfriend...
