@Rockhead,
Snowing? Snowing! In October? Maybe it's just cold white dust.

Well - we've got raging bushfires, which are on the other end of extreme for October.

@vonny,
Was it Henry VIII who said we have the worst weather and the best climate in our green and pleasant land.

Sounds like it's a good time to get moving to that farmhouse.

Although I'd like a hard frost around here, it is too soon for snow!

You only need a 3 seasons bag for those kind of temps, Rocky.

You oughta try making yourself a kotatsu [see link]. If you have a kitchen table you can make one out of a blanket/comforter and a piece of plywood. Stick a little electric heater under there and you'd be good for much colder temps.

I had a surreal moment yesterday while my crew was on break.

growing up I spent some time in C2. in high school stagecraft class we got to use some of the facilities on occasion. it was a grandiose place back then.

but I never envisioned myself being a head carp there. (I thought I was going into design)

there are murmurs that this won't be my last tour of duty...

gotta go mix some warm water from my drinking station and do my hair. and then find some mojo. I'm sluggish this morning.

might hafta stop for a large coffee and a bananana...

@Rockhead,
You're still welcome, Rocky. The kotatsu would be great for you, keep you toasty warm.

@Rockhead,
Been reading along. Cross Country and Football and Band has got me loaded up right now. I don't get to play as much as I used to. It should slow down soon.
