@Rockhead,
If you have a source for the sheep milk (or goat milk) you might be interested in this recipe and instructions for making your own mozz cheese. It also uses a vegetable rennet but says it is interchangeable with animal rennet.

@Butrflynet,
I'll consider that if I retire...

gonna have a weekend guest.

(no, I didn't take the girlfriend back)

my friend D asked me to watch Rubyroo the corgi for 4 days.

should be an adventure.

I'm trying to think how to break it to stinky.

he's not gonna like it.

at all...

I did a flanking maneuver on the mess in the living room.

carved a living area out, and tonight, I may actually finish off the pile.

depends on how my day goes...

bubba has claimed the rocking chair as her day sleeping post. (stinky has my bed)

it's a step up from the giant pot of dirt that my rubbertree lives in...

off to town to powwow with a lawyer type person.

@Ticomaya,
probably.

you were familiar with most of the sharks, as I recall...

and nevermind about the gas, I solved that problem.

I did manage to grab a coupla still warm eggs, and filled one feeder.

Are they all as deluded as Tico, who pretends he doesn't know/realize that the US is the biggest, the most widespread, the most active terrorist group on the planet?

tomorrow night's forecast...

Overcast with ice pellets and snow. Fog overnight. Low of 23F with a windchill as low as 12F. Breezy. Winds from the ESE at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation 100% with accumulations up to 6 in. possible.

going out to start battening the hatches...

got a chicken roasting.

wally's all looked emaciated and gross. I'll roast my own dang chicken for 8 bucks, thank you very much. (mine was 6 fiddy, and chemical free non-tyson)

but I will eat about 10.

oh well, gonna do the vigil thing, and finish cleaning my house so Ruby can come torment stinky and bubba.

(bubba will just disappear until she's gone, I have no doubt. she has lotsa hidey holes)

@Rockhead,
you oughta think about the goat/sheep cheese-making thing if you can tolerate the stuff

it's not too time-consuming

awoke to two inches of snow.

three now.

as much as I wanna just stay inside and warm, I think I need to bundle up and go shovel for my neighbor.

he's older and not doing so good, but stubborn enough to try to go do it himself.

hoping for a window before the next wave hits.

up to 6 more inches...

@Rockhead,
If you have extra, send some of that snow down to us. We sure could use the water.

As for the shoveling for your neighbor, you're a good guy, Charlie Brown.

@Butrflynet,
We got dumped on today ... I think we're sending it your way, BFN. (I actually saw small hail a few minutes ago ... really small, but hail nevertheless.)
