got it all wiped down and scuffed and tack clothed.

ready to mix epoxy...

gonna have a popsicle break first...

weird weather.

opened a porthole, because it's hot in the trailer, but I started a fire in the shop, because the temps are dropping and the winds are whipping around.

and I'm guessing the barometer is falling, cuz all of a sudden, I got a haddock...

all done but for a final coat on the front fenders.

had to come have a snackerooski.

now my headache is king sized...

gonna go finish up and clean my gun.

hoping to be abed before 5...

mmmmmmm.

it looks fabulous.

and I'm starting to get a feel for my new guns...

I laid the front fenders the way I would lay color. they laid out and glossed up nicely nicely...

the rears are verra rough, so I laid on as much material as I could get them to hold. they will require a lotta plastic to come flush.

now I gotta get the pinholes of rust fixed in the hood so I can be all done with metalwork on this one.

but it can rain it's ass off now, and I don't flippin' care.

I think I overdosed on the prune juice.

but I got better.

went in and had a fish dinner from the fish jernt. come back under the edge of the storm.

yes, it's a dark and stormy night...

got alvin's woodstove all finished. test fired quite nicely.

now I needa take a happy pill and crash.

5 am will be here much too soon...

stinky is not pleased. in fact, he is till laying by the pillow, refusing to get up...

but my new alarm clock will not be denied.

and I am into the rotation.

havin' a mug o' tea. extra honey, I need more sweetness...

gonna jump in the shower and wake up in a bit.

can't tell what it looks like outside, got the drier going. and the windows, they are all foggied up...

and it's still dark.

I was up on the second wave, after building steel on the deck.

not so bad this time, I was conscious not to put a death grip on the beam with my thighs. and was told I was gonna be down tonight. (I am a steel breaking down machine)

and................

I go back at 7 to run a spotlight and watch the show!!!!!!

I think I may try and nap between.

we will get out around 2, and I will get up again at 5 to be there at 8 am to rig for batman.

100+ rigging points on it, going all the way to front of house. got a diagram in my e-mail to study beforehand.

kinda enjoying the prestige that comes with the rope...

yup.

me and dink are gonna try and take a catnap.

don't even hafta change the alarm. 5 works again.

(if y'all don't see me back here by 5:30, somebody blow the train horn...)

frost on the punkin tonight...

gonna hafta fix my heater on Tuesday. mighty frigid driving home tonight.

so I stopped at mickey's and got some fries.

always fresh and hot at 2 in the morning...

havin a cuppa decaf earl grey to warm up, then Ima take another 3 hour nap.

then go do it all over again...

my body hates me about now.

and stinky thinks I've flat out lost my mind...

gonna go try and take a bat shower.

I even had a brush with two dudes in blue suits with earpieces...

I wasn't sure I was gonna get outta the building.

my second building of the day...

got a call as I was heading home from the arena asking if I wanted to help make some changes for the symphony. I did.

next door was some fancy black tie affair with a lot of air force brass. and a retired somebody. with body guards.

and I left through the wrong back hallway...

fortunately one of the building personel rushed over to explain that I was a rigger.

as I walked away I heard him telling him what I do. and why they let us look however we please...


oh.

and Batman live is gonna rock.

over 100 points hung on the grid.

all I could see as I left was hanging motors and chains filling the air...

very high tech. and action packed.

and they fed the riggers lunch, even though we were done for the day.

AND THEY HAD A GLUTEN FREE MENU...

verra coolio.

but I gotta eat and then crash.

I'm working again early in the morning...

One of my boys came home and told me he got a pink invitation to a party on next Tuesday morning....

Detention for making fart noises on the computer after his Adv Lit teacher told him to quit.
