I got my first stage call as a rigger.

I hadda delay my celebration. my little mower guy (Ima call him alvin) showed up to help cut wood.

I told him if he helped process it, he could take a truckload home.

the benefit of having two good chain saws is becoming very apparent...

I stopped and bought a chicken on the way. (before I got the rigging call)

gonna do the lion thing again. with some rice. and a salad...

I'm starved.

and then out to work on the vert.

I'm SO close...

had a good dinner, rested, and listened to finn limbaugh call the debate...

the giants are up 9-0 in the 8th.

now I gotta take my sore tired self out to the shop and grind.

tomorrow is sandblast day.

wednesday is paint day.

thursday is in case, and friday I rest and get ready to work on saturday.

and practice my knots...

I found some home made explosive devices the other day.

I think Ima go make something blow up.

I need some stress relief...

(not near the chickens, they are still hard of hearing from the snake thing)

Yeah, listening to Limbaugh will do that.

explosives are good for the soul...

gonna button up early tonight.

lotsa running around tomorrow before I settle in and sandblast on it for the last time...

so much for going to bed early...

but I got inspired. it's trash night.

and one more load has my back entryway cleaned back up to snuff...

and I cleaned my little corner of the world. vacuumed even.

gonna try and go on short sleep. tomorrow is already here...

every morning without my prescription gets harder.

this one sucked...

and I am no closer to a resolution.

spent an hour waiting on hold yesterday to be told that "they don't know what happened with my doctor, but he is not there any longer".

and they are taking appointments with the other 3 for next week.

or I can go in at 8 and wait in the "emergency cull" and see if I can get in.

I said no.

a nurse was supposed to call me back and talk to me, but never did.

par for the course.

and I am too busy to just stop my life and go sit and wait for an unlikely solution to surface.

none of the other three doctors that they have has any familiarity with bowel trouble.

I'm just kinda f*cked...

gonna finish using mr vw's impact driver so I can return it.

lotsa errands in town today.

and I'm running late.

and I feel like I'm made of lead...

things did not improve with a visit to the clinic. in fact they got worse.

think it best to sign off until things improve.

no whining or raining on anyone else's sunshine or parade.

still wishing for some toast...

got up on 4 hours sleep to call and get in the queue for an appointment with a random doctor.

waited on hold for 30 minutes, praying my phone would not drop. I wasn't up for walking to the road for signal...

I will have to make another trip in to let them reverify my lack of income, or they will bill me an additional hundred on top of what I was made to pay today.

after that, things smoothed out a little.

the nurse was the one my old doctor had used, and she was friendly, and remembered me.

she apologized, and then kinda clammed up.

my new doc was more candid.

lotsa politics and bullshit at the clinic.

but he wrote me 6 months of pills, and apologized for the craziness. also said that he really respected my old doc, and we would continue on his path of treatment.

but I have to catch him on one of the two days a month that he works...

I'm over to mr vw's waiting on wally to fill the scrip...

yeah, he's part time overflow help. go figure...

I was looking through a big book about Dali while I was hanging at mr vw's.
