i gotta vent.

I used to run a parts store or two.

back in the day...

never ever again.

got two vehicles here, one for a new clutch, and one for a used transmission and a new clutch.

I've done my part. ordered them in a timely fashion, and made sure I had part numbers.

I've had two mis-boxes and a defect.

the defect really hurts, cuz i getta do the dodge twice...

and it's raining.

think ima rearrange the shop to fit two, cuz the one in the air is waiting till Wednesday now for a 3rd try at the right clutch.

happy sunday to the rest of yas...

at least my baseball team seems to have pulled out of it's slump.

not a good week to be a dessert dog.

hmmmmmm.

kizmet and all that.

feeling crappy and unmotivated. walked over to main street.

they were havin' a little car show. figgered it to be cheezy. was kinda surprised. several real nice old cars in the mix.

met a guy drivin' a Hummer, sellin' performance transmissions he builds in his shop. he lives just up the road about 10 miles. (whodathunkit)

we came over to the shop while his helper kids minded his "booth".

I mighta blew his mind.

we're gonna talk tomorrow and see how we might be able to help each other out a bit...

@Rockhead,
That's not good, Rocky...

How about posting here or calling someone every couple of hours for the next six hours or so? Just to let us know that you're okay, and to give you the comfort of knowing that someone is watching out for you.

hours to check in?

@Rockhead,
I know the feeling of working alone, Rocky. Recently I thought that I had broken a bone in my foot or broken my toe. I had to treat it myself with ice packs. It's better now, but I had a good deal of pain there for a little bit. Don't you have a paramedic that you can call?

@dyslexia,
That's good to hear. Thank you.

And thanks for posting, RH. Maybe you should invest in a motorcycle helmet for when you're under cars (or one of those Life Alert "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!" services).

@Rockhead,
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

What are we going to do with you Rock? for pete's sake.
feel better - be careful - do what Butrflynet says and get a helmet.
Glad that Dys talked to you though and got the "normal" vibe. Which makes me smile...cause I am pretty sure I would have said you were okay - but we already knew you weren't normal. Razz Wink

@Rockhead,
what would bbe really cool is for RH to wear a hair-net under his helmet so he wouldn't muss his hair when a tranny dropped on his head.
