@mismi,
hmmmmm.

I'm looking over my gupps, trying to decide which ones to put out in the pond this year.

at the end of the season they will make lots of little ones. we try to breed toward certain attributes.

I have some highly fluorescent guys. gotta decide what colors we want for tails...

no major gut trouble, but I am really tight. but I ate quite a bit of meat. I don't normally eat much meat...

morning will tell the real story. Ima set my alarm and try to be whole by 10.

we'll see...

@msolga,
I've got some big giant breeder size females, and three separate ponds. so I can do three strains, although the two smaller ponds will be dwarfed by what the main pond produces.

last year the top ponds were blue guys, and some really sparkly yellow guys developed in the big lower pond...

I can't wait for it to be warm enough to transfer. my house will get rearranged then too. all the plants and fish clearing out will let me do my remodel. I hope...

gonna go take that shower I wanted this morning. it will feel even better tonight...

it's never this nice this time of year here.

I'm taking advantage of that and my renewed stamina...

@msolga,
I feel improved by my shower.

digging for the well pipe has moved up the priority list. I think while I am digging the beds for my grape arbor, Ima trench over and see if I can find it, we can't go another summer without running water...

had some prune juice to try and stack the deck in my favor.

needa fall down soon, taking my happy pill now...

I'm still pretty wasted from working the arena last night. I should nod off without any sheeps...

@Rockhead,
What you need is a celebrity lullaby to help you on your way, Rocky.

I do hope this works! Smile

@msolga,
ok, but I don't want that Ricky character. I want a real celebrity...

been busy.

mr vw called and met me as I got home from being the country washer and dryer moving service...

he wanted me to weld his bumper on so he could go pull a trailer and burn what little clutch he has left up...

so now I'm done and resting. with ointment on the dingleberry burn on my left bicep. went all the way through my sweatshirt and my t-shirt.

firkin welding in the doorway with 40 mph winds playing outside...

but they are gone, and the rest of the day is my own.

not sure what I wanna do.

my corned beef was awkward, but dint try to kill me.

I'll do it again next year. please RSVP...

@Rockhead,
Dingleberry must mean something different in Kansas than it does at the offleash dog beach.

@ehBeth,
it's a cherry red hunk of molten slag.

they fall on the floor and bounce. they fall on me and brand flesh...

damned flux core wire.

I would not recommend picking up either one bare handed...

@Rockhead,
molten slag

no thanks

dingleberries here are not nearly as dangerous. a little dip and swish in the lake takes care of 95% of them.

@ehBeth,
I had all my equipment set up from being the vw floor surgeon, so I told him to drop by and it wouldn't take very long. he brought his brother out to see the pond garden. he just moved from Nashville and is house hunting.

anyways, they were just getting comfortable in the chairs about the time I was done. he didn't believe me, I guess. he said if he'd known that was all it was gonna take, he woulda had me do it a long time ago...

having some noodles again. we've got rain moving in, and I have things to do before it gets wet out there...
