@Rockhead,
the craft table can be fun

they used to do a lot of late night/overnight filming at an old car wash near here

the guys always made hotdogs for Bailey and his pal Scout if we went past on late night wanders. Scout's human used to drop by in the morning to pick up leftover bananas and bread because they tossed it out every day

@ehBeth,
the wrestlers always throw out a bunch of fresh fruit. sometimes bags of chicken breasts marinated and ready to freeze...

I keep an extra eye out when they are in town.

It is flippin gorgeous outside, I gotta go get a few rays on my ghostly legs...

I am lots better, but I still feel my age this morning. gonna be a while before I am truly back in shape.

maybe I will look to go golphing again. that will be the true sign that all is back to normal, I think...

off to check out my tulips. (deep purple) I forgot I planted them last year.

I love it when that happens...

I think Ima start planting some stuff and take my chances on a freeze...

I was going to do that this weekend until I saw the freeze we're supposed to get next week. I think I'll spend those cooler days getting the soil ready and then plant everything as soon as the freeze flows past our area.

Have you put your cannas out yet?

@Butrflynet,
I never pulled them... Embarrassed

was really sick during the early winter when that was to be part of the plan.

with the incredibly mild winter, I expect them all to come back. I did throw a bunch of hay over the area where they were...

I've not inspected that part of the garden yet.

I ravaged the logs that screened it for firewood, and have yet to decide how to remake that portion...

this may be a king sized mistake, but dammit, my house smells like it's 'posed to on saint paddy's day.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I made it in Tennessee once. Mike said never ever again. he hates the smell...

here's hoping it don't kill me. (it won't be ready for hours yet)

gonna go move cars around. I hadda borrow the big tralier, both of the little ones are full of lumber. dunno what snowplow guy is building, but he's got about a grand worth of boards loaded up.

now I hafta move the 55 ford so we can get it back outta here tomorrow. starting a chain reaction of moving vehicles to where they would be better suited to hang out..

@Rockhead,
It does smell to high heaven, but what's in a corned beef and cabbage dinner that could bite you back later?

@Rockhead,
Yours might have a better chance of recovering than mine. I pulled mine, stuck them in pots and stored them in the garage for the winter.

I looked at the bulb thingys today and they look very dried out. Hopefully they will still have some life left in reserve when I stick them in the ground again next week.

@Butrflynet,
if mine don't poke out, I can go back to where I got them and get some more. he wants some guppies for his small waterfall pond. (he's a wealthy gentleman)

I'll go look before it gets dark and see if I see any stirrings over in that part of the garden...

no signs of life yet in that garden.

my silverthorn is up and running, though. and the vinca...

only one of my cedars made it, but it's the one in the best spot. I doubt I replant the others. too many other cool things I can put there that don't bite me...

I can now smell the corned beef all the way to the shop.

mmmmmmmmmmm....

@Rockhead,
Sticking my head in to say hello.

We had lots of kids this weekend. I am beat. I think I am having allergy issues too. Not feeling so good. I have these knots in my neck that hurt and my head and throat are sore.

Sounds like a lovely St. Paddy's day dinner you had. Smile

I have got to close my eyes. So tired!

See y'all later.
