one step at a time...

got my wood unloaded and stacked. made me sweat. and after this round on the 4x4 we are square. with more work on the horizon. gonna both go saturday and see if we can cut enough to be done for the year. from my stash of downed hedge over by the river. unless it's still muddy, then it won't be accessible...

talked to my sis till my phone died. apparently the abusive boyfriend is moving to the South of Dakota. alone...

I can't hardly eat much real food anymore, so folks are trying to help me be creative...

back from my mission. (it was also a test drive)

no budget for chicken yet, hadda pay smoky for my electricity, he was low on funds.

and I got a gallon of lactaid milk $8....

and some thai peanut noodles. spicy...

that and a tuna salad sammich will be supper.

replenished my fruitcicles, and got some reeses cups.

I'm set, sweet tooth and all.

tomorrow we clean out ol' red and get her ready to go to the old trucks home for parts donation.

hopefully thursday I can drive her over to rest. and swap the column into the new one.

gonna have my own wheels again before the month is out...

interesting day. pushing some limits to see where I am.

feels like spring, firkin gorgeous all day.

ol' red won't start. so I am dragging it on to the dolly. and gonna tow it over tomorrow. actually easier than going to get a D tag and coming back. just more work. until it decided to quit starting. I don't even care why at this point. parts it will be. prolly not a good candidate for a starter at this point...

Earache will be over in a while to help me pull it up on the pivots. don't wanna risk it alone in case I get hurt. smoky ain't much help if I fall and can't get up.

worked up a good sweat, and dint fall over with exhaustion. a good sign...

trying out a new spread. it's not as terrible as the last ones...

and got me a secret for my baked potato. worcestershire steak sauce. like having a steak with my tater. without the steak. also got some tiger sauce. zippy it is...

truck is strapped to the dolly awaiting my orders in the morning. actually gonna try and do a for real morning. before noon and everything.

we'll see...

I'm also having a tuna salad sammich. and stinky is sitting next to me making the tuna face.

it sucketh to be him. I'm not sharing.

It was a gorgeous day! We are supposed to have some yucky weather though tonight and tomorrow I think. More tornado watches...or warnings. I hope it is just the lesser of the two.

I got to go clean out our "safe place". I managed to get it full of crap again. I keep shifting piles. I must have a garage sale and take the other to Hannah home. I could get rid of the piles. That would be nice.

Hopefully Daddy will be coming down soon to build our room in the basement. It's getting to be that time of year where we will probably be spending a lot of time down there. yuck.

Stinky managed to be very noisily pushing the last few bits o kibble around in his bowl as I was headed out past him. he's a smart one. but not real subtle...

and at the sound of kibble, bubba came stretching outta her cave. behind my guest chair draped with laundry. clean but for the cat hair.

(I turn my sweatshirts inside out until I wear them. that way it's mostly on the inside)

what an adventure...

dolly is still over to the salvage. gonna need a sledgehammer and some time to make it right again.

Snowplow guy crashed my truck into the fender twice trying to help me load it...

oh well. I dint lose the tire, but it sure smoked to beat hell. and I went slooooooooooooow. 15 mph all the way till I hit the last stretch past the highway patrol headquarters. went like I dint have any trouble there...

now I gotta run smoky to wally's he's outta some pill or another...

was gonna make pork cutlets with the smokester, but some church ladies had brought him a dinner while we were out. apparently I am past attempting conversion, but that's ok. I couldn'ta ate meatloaf anyways. but it looked good, and he was pleased that they thought of him...

Ima have leftover enchiladas again. they're almost gone.

and I picked up some GF vanilla bean fake cream cheese. gonna have it on some bread with some apple butter for a snack...

got my fire poppin' now.
