@ehBeth,
it's good one of us should have fun with it...

no codes. and still no power. feels like it is missing.

gonna put the wires I asked for the other day on it. (they will get ordered tomorrow) and go see about running it on a diagnostic over to the salvage.

I needa talk to those boys anyways. I'm trying to get a diagnostic run on Smoky's Chrysler before he and the crispy kid drive to Kentucky in March...

BEautiful sunset tonight. crimson to deep purple. made me sad.

oh well. all in good time...

@Rockhead,
Why did a beautiful sunset make you sad, Rock? That is my favorite part of the day.

@Eva,
a sudden rush of beauty and perfection amidst devastation and despair.

memories and dreams unrequited...

I dunno.

@Rockhead,
That sudden rush of beauty and perfection is exactly what lifts me out of devastation and despair.

It's the sunrises that get to me. They remind me there's too much to do. When sunset arrives, it's time to relax.

@Eva,
A sunrise is like an eclipse for me. I very rarely see one. especially now that I am not working as a stagehand.

If I do, it bodes unwell for the remainder of the day.

I am two minutes from my self imposed deadline to head for town.

I may or may not have enough gas to make the station.

we'll find out...

@Rockhead,
Drive real fast so you get there before you run out of gas. That's what I always do.

@roger,
I chickened out. call me yella...

the guage quit bouncing before we hit the highway. It's 11 miles to water...

Smoky and me are gonna make a ceegar run instead. Ima bring my 5 gallon can. it's criminal to watch it pour in and realize how little $20 purchases.

called the boys over to the yard. they want me to isolate the miss first. then we can proceed tomorrow. they knock off at around 3 usually, so I struggle to get there with quality time left to play...

think Ima go get a Taurus while we are out so I can flush silicone mess outta the heater core. they prolly think I died, it's been a cold stretch since I sent them away without heat...

feels like spring. even crybaby bubba is dancing.

damn it's nice out. 63...

and good news.

I stopped to pick up the taurus, and it does not live there anymore...

he traded it for an escape with 100,000+ miles. I'll be seeing it soon enough.

but I'm not chasing the heat any longer. they shot him an estimate to fix it. $2k.

no thanks, he said. sell me another turd on payments for 3 years instead. Rolling Eyes

not my job to keep folks from biting their own ass, it is...

gonna look and see what I have left for spices. Smoky asked for enchiladas. I know I need cumin for sure, if Ima make my own sauce like I used to. prolly some fresh chilis too. gonna thaw some chicken just the same.

so far only mild headaches. nothing a pill won't keep at bay...

@mismi,
no desire to even know what that is...

I'm making chicken tacos. from my old mexican girlfriend's recipe. it uses taters...

I'll save some of the filling and play with enchiladas for tomorrow. smoky hadda go ahead and eat, so he made pork chops.

and of all the craziness, he had some cumin. never been opened...

so I gotta figger out my enchilada sauce recipe. I almost sorta remember it.

store tomatoes suck ass right now, btw...

crikey...

I almost forgot.

I got some sardines, because that chai person keeps talking about them.

but I effed up, I think. the ones I got are in a tomato sauce. mexican like I think.

what's that about?

I'm afraid to open them. itsa kinda large can. and I doubt the cats will like the sauce if I can't eat them...
