I think I heard something about chewing them till they're soft. Not sure if something comes after that or not.

Well that is just gross. I guess brains are cheaper but dang...seems to me there has got to be something less disgusting. I like the whole "using what you have to make do" thing though. Feels very basic - I like basic.

So you want to be Hawkeye eh? Interesting.

one of the videos used mayonnaise and eggs instead of brains, but that is almost as yucky.

I wonder about attracting zombies while tanning...

decided to do a can o' soup first.

warming ones shoes next to the stove inevitably brightens one's chilly afternoon...

not gonna make it above freezing today it seems.

Thank you for clarifying Beth. It made me laugh...though I must say I am a wee bit offended at the "not expecting something literary" from me.

I ain't stoopid. Mostly anyway.

I play here. Mostly anyway.

Have a good evening you two. Stay warm - we have some bad weather coming our way I think...of course they always say that and then nothing really happens...or they make very little of it and very bad things happen.

Never know what to expect.

Mayonnaise and eggs is infinitely better than brains.

I don't think zombies care for tanned hides...they like the living it seems to me.

I am hungry - and that does sound good now that you mention it. I wish I could get the boys to eat more sandwiches. My life would be so much easier.

I have a kid that won't eat bread. BREAD. The same one won't eat cheese either. So bizarre.

I won't eat bread (not real bread anywho) but I am verra cheesey...

I'm over to mr vw's for a minute. test driving a 4x4. stopped at wally's, got my frozen food in the back. no rush to get home, it's 28 and falling to 12...

still no call back from the damn docs.

crazy headaches getting more bothersome.

I did refuse my concert call. to unlikely to be stable on an appointed day right now...

it's firkin 12 degrees out now. not s'posed to fall much lower tonight...

stopped at wally's and got me a close out roast chicken bird.

not able to eat it yet, but mebbe in a bit.

kinda wonky still, but in for the night once I haul one more load of wood.

not a big fan of the bitter cold, eh...

meh. not so much for the food.

but I have a lot on my mind tonight...

I asked mr vw to take Stinky in for me when I get too sick to care for him. it won't be the same as being with me, as he has other animals, but I think it is the best place I can come up with for him to live fat and happy into old cat age...

mr vw is the animal lovingest person I know. Stinky will be fine there. and I have one less thing to worry on...

anyways...

firkin still verra cold here.

so me an' smoky are having frijoles pintos. with extry ham added and cut small so's he can chew it.

cornbread if I stay vertical...

cabin smells good. lotsa garlic and onions in the air.

and bubba popped up. she disappeared whilst it was cold, and I was too ill to make her a fire. I gave her a whole can o' friskies and Ima toss some crap wood in for her to have a fire tonight.

not enough good wood left to use in the shop right now.

mebbe tomorrow I feel like cutting wood...
