took gram to the grocery store today. this is always a good source for things to make you go hmmmmmmmmm.

light bulbs.

had to have some. cheap ones, because we don't spend for fancy bulbs and crap.

picked up a package of GE ultra soft white 60 watt 4 bulbs.

pushed the cart about 6 inches. HOLD THE PHONE.

she does NOT want ultrasoft white bulbs.

ok. easy enough, i replace those and scan for something that is going to pass inspection.

generic soft white 4 pack, cheaper even. (i get excited)

NOPE...She does not want soft white either.

WTF.???

she has never bought soft bulbs before, of this she is quite certain.

Shocked

I bet her $100 that her empty box said soft white.

she smacked me and said nevermind...

but she looked when we got back to her place, just the same.

(when she thought i wasn't looking)

Next week we do Wally's again...

@mm25075,
this is gonna be a hat day.

March winds and all that.

and if you loop the hair through the handy portal in the back of the hat, it works just like the strings on a dirty old stetson. don't hafta chase it.

(now that was just silly...)

Do the antlers interfere with proper seating of the hat?

Maybe lay in a nice thick (mothproof & mudproof) rug, over foam padding.

That 's clever; he 'll be better off with a mouthproof rug!

@OmSigDAVID,
I have a mudroom at the entry, and I'm not sure what a mouthproof rug is supposed to do.

perhaps you could enlighten me, dave.

Spring is officially here. we moved out most of the woodpile, and made a cozy spot for the new compressor so I can run hard air lines around the place.

starting to feel like I work there.

and the garden tools are all ready for the ground to soften up.

moved the wood boxes back over to set up the patio with small wood.

hoping for a moon fire this month...
