I now have an icon (widget?) at the top of the screen where the notifications are. It stays there all the time and when I open the notification area it just says:
Connected to multimedia station. Select to open launcher.
When I select, the screen flashes and nothing else.
This showed up a few days ago maybe about the time I installed Dolphin Browser.
What is this and what is it supposed to do?
Can I get rid of it?

Did you install something like Lookout Mobile Security? I know it keeps an icon on the notification tray all the time.

I rebooted the phone and it has disappeared. I still don't know what it was.

Do you have the Dock Runner program and maybe left it running?
