I just recently found out that xscope, a multitouch browser was released. It comes with a hefty $2.99 price tag, but it seems worth it.

@isimon,
The xScope is not all that good. Kinda choppy with the zooming and not to many features. Dolphin browser provided a much better expierence with themes and all kinds of settings not to mention gesure control so you dont have to hit little buttons.

@isimon,
Dolphin browser is AWESOME. i now use it as default. the multitouch upgrade came just a few days ago and works very well. it looks and feels more like mozilla. it enables tabbed browsing. you can customize gestures...for example i use the infinity symbol to refresh a page whenever i want. awesome free browser. highly recommend!

per my other post, i also recommend Handcent SMS messaging...free. give it a look.

@cp22gear,
Dolphin Browser is nice but what a learning curve - whew! It needs its own manual! :p

@Droid Motorola,
If you want to use multi-touch (or pinch) zoom well, go to Menu->Settings->System Settings and turn off "Auto-fit Pages". Auto-Fit makes the screen display choppy as it constantly tries to fit the text as you zoom in and out. Turning it off smooths out the process nicely.

@isimon,
The only thing i dont like about the browser is if i zoom in a lot...the graphics and text get pixelated and never clear up...like 8bit. I dont know if that's the resolution of the screen of the browser causing that
