I believe every forum dedicated to phones w/ apps should have this thread (and probably already do). We've discussed some, so let's expand.

I'd like an app that uses the camera's LED flash as a flashlight. I've had older phones that were able to, don't see why this one couldn't.

There's a Sony Ericsson that's coming out that can access your PS3 enabling you to access your PSN account and receive and message your friends from it. I don't know if it's possible to create an app, as the phone I've mentioned is made by the same people who make the PS3, but man, that'd be awesome.

That same phone also has an FM Radio. Would be great to have app for that, but I hear that would require Flash, which we won't have till next year.

Funny, I was thinking about that too, I was going to look into seeing how hard it would be to develop

True FM radio would require having a radio antenna inside of the phone.

@YankeeDudeL,
what about (and this is less of an app and more of a hardware deal...future feature, i guess)...an FM transmitter? figure might as well make my ipod completely useless and make it so i can play all the music on my phone through my car. i thought some other phones had this already...

@saintlewi,
I'm pretty sure you can use glowpear for the droid as an led flashlight.

Couldn't find it in the market. I trust it's an app, right?

@YankeeDudeL,
As stated on another thread, I'd like an app to access my call log from the home screen.

Glowpear stated it wasn't compatible for the droid, unless they've updated it - crashed when I tried to run it a few days ago.

@YankeeDudeL,
Moto Torch will work for the flashlight.

@teddyearp,
I want an app (or a shortcut) to put my call log on my homescreen. I tried adding a shortcut, but I wasn't able to come up w/ a way.

@YankeeDudeL,
As also stated in another thread, I'd like an app that enables the volume key to be used to wake the screen. The placement of the power/awake screen button at the top of such a large phone just isn't natural. The volume key is the only hard key in a natural holding location. Of course, I just want it to awake the screen and still need to swipe to unlock.
