My first purchased app! This 99-cent app was developed and released TODAY. It does exactly what it says: turns on the Droid's LED flash as a flashlight. It toggles on and off easily.

If the white screen flashlights aren't good enough, this is a buck well spent. Finally a flashlight that works with the camera LEDs! Very Happy

@YankeeDudeL,
Glad to help. I hate buying apps as much as the next fella, but this one is a no-brainer. I told the developer I hoped he made millions. .. and he might!

@The Chief,
Does this app work while using the video portion of the camera? If so how well does it work?

@The Chief,
Yes you are able to.

You load the app than click the home button and load the camera.

@The Chief,
Moto Torch is now free but you can donate to the developer. He has put a free version and a donate version in the market place.
