First of all, hi, Lash...
On the superbowl - well, sports in general, but especially the superbowl, I skipped it all for years at a time, even a decade, several times. I remember a bunch of us driving on superbowl sunday through LA to a vietnamese restaurant in chinatown, the city about as somnambulant as a city can get. On the other hand, I wended my way through teen angst via reading about sports, as opposed to the doing, and still have a connection. Now I'm back again, and it's just spectator play.
