I don't see why not, he impersonated a girl off stage so fair is fair. Unless it was for momentary gain then it could be illegal.

Do you really believe that? You've been asking the question for a long time and I think people here have told you the truth. You are allowed to impersonate a person - it's called Freedom of Speech. Are you in the USA?

Well, I can't think of any country where it would be illegal, so I think if you want to impersonate Boy George you should do it. If someone tells you it's illegal tell them to prove it. Many actors impersonate real people all the time and they do not go to jail or get sued.

Everyone I have talked to in the last ten minutes has confirmed that it is indeed illegal to impersonate Boy George, but we have yet been able to find the concrete evidence you seek. Somewhere, buried in the law books, is the answer.

There was an international agreement known as "The United Kingdom Performer Identity and Intellectual Property Accord". It protects all performing artists who are UK citizens. I believe most Western countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand have signed on to this treaty.
