@shewolfnm,
I love stuffing but stuffing on a stick looks repulsive.

Interesting, hamburger. Changing attitudes over time.

Garlic was considered an abomination in middle class Anglo Oz when I was a weelowan.

Then, if you were VERY daring, it was permissible to rub a little of it on a salad bowl. Not put it IN the salad, mind you, just a rub on the bowl...probably wearing rubber gloves, and throwing the garlic into the outside bin afterwards.

Now...well, we drown in the stuff!

@dlowan,
I still read recipes that recommend nudging a garlic clove across a piece of toast, or similar.

@Seed,
Never had Vegemite or the opportunity to turn it down either. I bet this Frankenstein's monster doesn't wet your appetite either, non?

Can't say that I have. Not sure if I would like it - don't drink much in the way of hard liquor.

@Seed,
I agree - vegemite is almost as vile as apple pie. It tastes like biting into a vitamen

I don't know why anyone would consider yeast extract tasty.

@dlowan,
mrs hamburger considered use of garlic an indication of a very poor upbringing

she was shocked and appalled when we travelled to germany in the early 1980's and her sister !!! and brother-in-law were regularly using garlic in their cooking

shocking !!!

@tsarstepan,
A friend of mine sent mine, while in Iraq, sent me some in a care package. I have some footage of my squad leader eating it somewhere. I'll try and get it on youtube. It's pretty funny.

I can't stand eggs either! They make my stomach ache. It grosses me out too, when people put ketchup on them! ICCKKKK!!!! I really hate black licorice and antipasto too.

@hamburgboy,
My BFF from California came to visit and she said, "I'll eat a piece of garlic if you do. We did and it was gross! It made your tongue sting, and it was gross!

@shewolfnm,
Gasp! How can you hate stuffing? It's delicious! My favorite part of thanksgiving. It's really good homemade, but the kind with ocean spray cranberries are really good too. It says it's for the bird, but add a couple of cups of water and you're good to go!

@Purple3,
Well that's because you aren't suppose to just up and eat a clove of it as a main course. It adds flavor to dishes, it is not a dish.
