I know this is probably gonna make a lot of you go "WHAT?" or "FOR REAL?" perhaps even "BUT THEY ARE SO GOOD", but I can not stand eggs. Never have been able to, I doubt I ever will be able to. It comes from being forced to eat them as a child. Couldn't get more then a spoonful down before seeing it again. Now, this just goes for eggs on their own. I can eat say potato salad that has eggs cut up in it and I can't taste them. Or even an omelet that is packed full of anything and everything else. You know over powers the egg taste.

What about you? What do you dislike in the food world.

I'd never eat raccoon, squid or muskrat. Most other things I like or would try, at least.

Sometimes the texture of food can gag us. Eggs is one thing that can get that way, especially soft-boiled. Venison has to be cooked just right for me.

@tsarstepan,
don't know about raccoon, but a local hunters club used to host a game dinner every year and stuff like muskrat would be on the menu from time to time

Cooked Spinach. I am NOT Popeye and I don't eat my spinach. (except raw in salads)

Seafood...- the consistency of it all makes me gag.

@George,
That's the best part! The tenaticles. I love to eat them where I have the delicate little tenaticles hanging out of my mouth and slowly slirp them so the little legs wiggle - especially for display toward dinner companions that do not like these little buggers.

@Linkat,
I can understand you might have eaten bad apple pies. To call it horrific and vile?! I hope you're not judging an entire pie set from say eating a pie or two from Mcdonald's or other questionable source of pie baking like pies mass produced for grocery stores. Neutral

@tsarstepan,
Nope I am not. I have even tried homemade apple sterwdel made by an Austrian (supposedly they make the best). It was horrific and vile. I was forced to eat it out of politeness - I gagged and almost threw up - I kinda moved it around and mixed it up with the vanilla ice cream they put on top. The worst thing ever.

I detest apples cooked or altered in any way from their natural state.
