@Stradee,
Can you believe the photos of the area??

I've actually been to the area and it was soooooooo beautiful with people who were soooo nice. You would have loved it....... AND, in a few years people will love it still.

Great places - I love them.

@danon5,
Can we trade photos??? I'd love to see them......

Except not on Facebook - I am almost the age of Betty "W" - and am WAY beyound the realm of anything electronic.......except for the old radios that broadcast things like (Sky King) or (Roy Rogers) or (The Lone Ranger) or (The Shadow) or ------- about a million really GOOD things that you don't know about today......
OH, WELL, What is the world coming too?????
I hope the youngsters today can come up with a solution!!!!!!!

I'm sure they will --- Life goes on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,?

@danon5,
Dan, are you talkin' to me??? LOL

I'm not certain what photos you're referring to. Travel pics?

Well i can tell you there are very few in my albums cause i've not traveled anywhere outside of the US (and just a few states here)

Tuscany calls though. One day...Very Happy

FB is very easy to transfer photos. Just go to your album (the easiest way) and click on an album, then where it says 'add photos' click on that and follow the prompts.

If you wearn't talking to me.....disregard the above post. (cept still try and transfer pics to FB

@Stradee,
getting ready to put together my version of Thanksgiving dinner

I don't need a heaping helping of turkey to be happy ... veggies, stuffing, mashed root veg ... a little gravy ... lots of cranberry sauce

happy happy

a bright sunny day out there

I was napping on the porch under my old shearling coat - Miss Cleo made herself a nest under the tentlike area where the ancient sleeping bag was draped over a couple of chairs to dry - Bailey heaped himself on top of me and the shearling ... it was a cozy afternoon

@danon5,
Today i finally discovered the name of my decorative tree that lives near the top of the property just beyond the lawn and next door to one of the Liquid Ambers...A Deodor Pine!!!!!!!!!!! Then a few door away from the Dedora is the Tulip Tree!!!!!!!!!! Crepe Mytrals live near the garage, and the Japanese Maple lives outsided the kitchen window.

Had no clue what the names were until meeting a tree person (who removed a dieing pine from a neighbors yard) who i asked to give me an estimate for pruining. Nice man walked the property with me and named all of my trees!
Not such a big deal to those who have a sense of what type of trees are what, but for me? Was very happy to learn the names, but also learned i could wait three years or better before lopping branches. HURRAY!

@ehBeth,
You're absolutely right --- it's always great to know how to address people and trees.........
Today, I went to WallyWorld to get some things and as I entered the door I thought, "wouldn't it be funny if someone asked me - [How are you?] - and my answer would be, "I'm not well, how are you?" With a pleasant smile on my face. It happened that I ran into an old friend from HS days and he asked me the exact question --- I said the above and he at first didn't react. Then, asked me if I was ok. Then I told him my funny story and we laughed.

I loved it when I went to my Doctor's clinic one day and the receptionist asked, "How are you?" - of course I couldn't keep my mouth shut so I said, "How do think I am this IS a Clinic. And I'm here to see my Doctor." We had a good laugh also -- after I had to explain what I did.

It's not so funny if you have to explain everything to people.

Good clicking all..............

hehehe

I'm often tempted to reply to "how are you?" with "are you sure you want to ask that?"

@ehBeth,
It is a joy finally having names to all of the landscaping (plus the guy gave me a few tips about care) and we laughed because two of the decorative trees right in front of the porch have no names! He said they are a mix of trees from the area used for beauty and shade. Luv it!!!!!!!!!!

Laughing when you told about your baby getting comfortable when you were napping. Sounds like your Thanksgiving was restful and happy. Smile

Dan, when people ask me 'how are you' i must admit i'm with beth. "Do you really want to know" is the general answer. Gets a smile every time...

I truly hope you all are happy, healthy, and prosperous! Smile

Nothing less for my dear wildclickers Very Happy

@danon5,
No offended, silly. Just adding a comment is all. Smile

"How are you" is only supposed to be asked when the person really wants to know...but nowadays it seems to be the same when people say... "Lets do lunch" with absolutely no date or time stated. laughing

So when i say "How are you?"...i means it...Very Happy

Love right back to ya, dan...and no apology necessary.
