I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 Quad 4X4/off road. While towing a car to Ohio from Virginia the transfer case became stuck in 4lo. Transmission side all good. No codes. Has 70,000 miles. Only drive 12 miles back and forth to work, so I only put about 6,000 a year. I do not use 4X4 that much. Garage said I probably broke the transfer box forks. 1. What would break to make it stick in 4lo? 2. What would make the forks brake?
