My family is interested in getting a puppy. One of my daughters already has a fairly large pet rabbit. Are there any breeds of dogs less likely to try and "hunt" the rabbit?

@tristedone,
A dog that's small as or smaller then the rabbit, perhaps?

A pug perhaps? A Shih Tzu? King charles spaniel? I hesitate to recommend jack russels, chihuahuas, or Yorkies.

@tristedone,
Most breeds were bred for that task. But it also depends on the age you get the dog, and the interaction the dog has with the rabbit. We have like a million cats and 3 dogs. A boxer to name one. And the boxer actually cleans the cats and sleeps with them.
