@djjd62,

i'd much rather think the worst of any personality, it's way more fun

But doesnt that go against the Golden Rule that everyone has been or should have been taught as a kid growing up?

@djjd62,
Think the worst, and make it sound like we are being charitable.

@djjd62,
I understand that. But thats one thing I have always wondered about. Does the fact that the person is famous mean we have the right to know every tidbit of their life? Or that we (by we i mean tabloids) are allowed to come up with all kinds of lies and gossip about them only because they are in the lime light.

@Ticomaya,
Joan Didion wrote a whole book about taking long drives in the middle of the night.. Play It As It Lays, I think. Hmmm, could this be a coincidence?

So, she cut him up,and he had to go run over a fire hydrant to conceal the embarassing evidence? No wonder a2k is at the top of the forensic charts.

Like the way you think, Sir Rat.

You need CSI Miami here, methinks.

Still wondering what he could be charged with, though, and why he was out at that hour of the morning...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

This cult of celebrity and gossip is one of the ugliest things mass media has helped humans sink to, in my opinion.

I find it truly sickening.

I think Schadenfreude and love of gossip is kind of hard-wired in, but this is like choosing to bury oneself in **** and revel in it...as opposed to taking the odd dump.

@djjd62,
I agree. It must be embarassing as hell for one of the premier atheletes of the world to get worked over by a girl.

Hopefully he'll iron it all out... there must be a fairway to do this.

@roger,
The clubhouse experts will advance the ball on this.

I don't know from clubhouses.. the only golf course I really knew was Rancho Park in west LA, a public course, and I only played pitch and putt in my early teens. What I remember - besides getting an odd hole in one, having totally missed the ball on the first swing, so it wasn't really a hole in one - was the time in the clubhouse cafe later, fabulous lemon meringue pie. At least then, anyone could go in there and order pie, but I never tried that after those early teen years.
