"ice road" from moose factory/northern ontario on hudson bay to moosene
(it's about 1 1/2 days travel from our place to cochrane and an additional 5 hours by train{polar bear express} to reach moosene )
we've only done it in the summer !

"ice fishing" in ontario - quite popular about 1/2 hour north of here in the many lakes and rivers
