quite a few farms in eastern ontario still have the remnants of a milkshed sitting by the farmgate - of course not used any more .
have to take some pictures next time we drive into the country - couldn't find a pix of a milkshed in google .

the milksheds around here are quite small , perhaps 6 x 6 - with a bench for the milkpails inside . i understand that the farmers would put the milkcans in there for the dairy wagon/truck to pick them up and take them to the dairy .
must get pix !
